PERCEPTION is my working title for this series. This series is Under Construction with completion expected a couple of weeks after I can get my computer setup (After I move) and an internet conncetion so that I can upload the remaining images. At present, I have only a dozen Kaleidographs that are acceptable, however, I still need to source my negative library for additional images.
I call these images Kaleidographs. The definition of kaleidograph is: 'A record of Beauty and Form'. My original intent was to come up with a term that would describe the genre of images where I manipulate the image so that it has a Kaleidoscope effect. When I saw the definition of the word origin (Kaleido), I decided that this term could apply to all of my computer manipulated/generated images. I will call any image that can not do done in a traditional chemical darkroom a 'Kaleidograph'.
The Kaleidographs used in 'Percertion' are mirrored diptych pairs.
