'Dreamlandscapes Three' images contain many elements that define abstract photography. These pictures have very strong morphic properties (Where the contents of the image take on the form of something else). They are very hypnotic and could be placed in the surreal genre.
I call these images Kaleidographs. The definition of kaleidograph is: 'A record of Beauty and Form'. My original intent was to come up with a term that would describe the
genre of images where I manipulate the image so that it has a Kaleidoscope effect. When I saw the definition of the word origin (Kaleido), I decided that this term
could apply to all of my computer manipulated/generated images. I will call any image that can not do done in a traditional chemical darkroom a 'Kaleidograph'.
